Hi, I´m Faveola Kett, a set and costume designer from Germany. Trained in theatre, film and performance design at the University for the Creative Arts Rochester, England. During my studies I had the chance to gather valuable first-hand experiences as an apprentice at the theatre of Konstanz as well as in the prop department of the Zurich Opera House. After finishing my Bachelor degree with a First Class Honours in 2019, I moved back to Germany where I started working as a full time stage design assistant at the Saarländisches Staatstheater in Saarbrücken. Here I got the opportunity to design my first projects like “Elise – An entire field of possibilities”, “Wuthering heights” and the opera production “Albert Herring”. Also I had the chance to work together with different creative teams on opera, theater and ballet productions. During that time I also started working as a freelance designer on a local late night talk show production called “Villa Late” and designed a student short film production which, due to the corona pandemic, couldn´t be released.
For the future I´m looking forward to taking on new design challenges and working with different creative people, in different theaters and on different sets all over the world.
